I initially bought 1 opener to see if i could make it work on my doors. I have ASTA doors that do not have holes in the side of the drum. I had to fabricate a bushing to go in the center of the opener because my door axle was only 1" diameter and the axe was also only 3.5" long. I also had to fabricate a new bracket for the opener because my original bracket was not an "L" shape bracket. it was part of the door frame. I used a piece of 2" square tubing and mounted that on my drum with some rivet nuts so the opener would drive on that. I installed a weight on the bottom of the door (1 1/4" round shaft 12" long.) It worked so well that I bought 2 more for my other 2 doors. Have all six remotes programmed with all 3 doors and it works great. Also now my garage is much easier to secure without having to padlock the doors.

We bought two of these openers for our two roll up garage doors. We had to add new brackets and modify the door drum a bit, but it all worked out and they are working great. For the price, they were great units for what we needed.

This product was great. I have 3 of them and they work great and are way cheaper than the competitors. There is a little adjusting you need to do in order for the opener to fit the door but it was simple.

I have not even opened the box, try the survey in a few months, got a lot going on right now; life! Do hope my warranty ect., don't until I get a chance to install it but expect it to be great researched and seem a good product for the monies!

Roll up door has no holes to install opener... do you carry an adapter or how can i mount it ?
