You could use for lifting, but my use was dragging stuff behind tractor. With loop and good hooks on ends, far easier to fasten to drag things like logs around.
Used this flipping over a 3/4 ton bench while unpacking my workshop.did it with ease.did it safely and beast thing i bought for the tight job and right job.
