Plucker review
The plucker works just as stated. The key is to get the scald right between 145 and 155 degrees dip until tail feathers and wing feathers pull by hand easily then the Vevor plucks them perfectly.

Good for the price
Works well for what we need. Had a power cord issue after its 3rd use but Vevor replaced it for free.

Makes quick work out of plucking chickens. 20 to 30 seconds and the birds are mainly featherless. The machine is easy to dismantle for cleaning. The cons, depending on the type of bird you're processing you may need to manually clean out the feathers every one or 2 birds. I've had the feathers jam up the side causing the bottom plate to lock the motor with the thick feathers. The sprayer that came with the machine is just about useless as it doesn't have a hose connection and I would need to cut off a perfectly good hose. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

No instructions came with it. I am a newbie in processing chickens. The machine worked well for the first couple of chickens and I figured out that my husband didn't tighten the bolts when assembling. Also, in spite of the video, the plucker works consistently better on level ground. I just like this machine- tying a chicken up to pluck by hand is not cool. I am planning to get ducks and I can see a need for the machine too. I have researched your site- you don't have a rotating scalding machine. Dipping the chicken in a pot does not necessarily loosen the feathers uniformly.

I put over 200 chickens through it and 0 problems. Does a really good job of picking them clean of feathers. The only regret that I have is that I didn't buy a bigger one

Excellent machine, it plucks chickens in 30 to 40 seconds, easy to use, easy to clean and is built tough. I haven't tried more than 1 chicken at a time yet as I am learning the machine. Note I have found it works way better with feet cut off as toes can stuck. Would recommend to anyone doing more than 5 chickens a year.

Worth getting
Came damaged slightly by the shipping company. (Caused by the shipping company) contacted customer support, sent pictures of damage. Support responded promptly offering to replace unit or give a substantial refund on the price....or return and refund total. They offered those options, I didn't have to request them. Damage was manageable so I kept it and they had the partial refund in my account in less then 2 days. Overall I was pretty happy with thier quick response and how they handled it. The machine is very simple, which I prefer. Easy to use, easy to clean. It will do turkeys, but I'd recommend clipping the wings and legs off since they tend to be a bit too much.....will still work ok, but the wing tips and legs tend to prevent the bird from rolling around. Still much faster then plucking by hand though. Definitely a must have for chickens though. Once you get down the learning curve for quenching the bird (water temp/time in water) it will take off all but a few pin feathers in a matter of seconds. I had my doubts but was impressed once I started useing it. The wheels under it could have been designed better, have already started falling apart.....but that really doesn't affect how it works and I typically move it around with a hand truck anyways.

Feathers get stuck in machine!
Feathers get stuck in bottom of plucker and it stops. I then has to pull apart to clean feathers out and restart. They are supposed to automatically go out below but some don't causing it to stop and manually remove feathers. Other than that it's great!

carcasses get stuck and feathers clump quickly
It gets the job done but the carcasses get stuck so we have to stop the machine and free it. Also the Feathers clump quickly even with only one bird which shuts down the machine. I'm not sure how you would do more than one at a time. It is easy to clean.
