works great for two chickens at a time. Use water hose to help wash feathers down. Makes sure you scald chickens before using this, water needs to be at 150.

Worked great only the bottom spins so you know. Every 8 birds break it down and clean feathers out or it will bind up. We did 38 birds with It. Very happy with it

Received package from FedEx a day late which is typical of FedEx. Looks like someone threw it off a truck before it arrived to me. The delivery driver made sure he set it down so I couldn't see the damaged side. Probably trained that way. Took me 10 minutes of tin work to get all the dents out of it. Luckily it still works but surely doesn't look brand new. Not the fault of the seller . Typical FedEx. Have never had good luck with anything shipped through them. I would never use them to ship anything. I will see how good it works tomorrow when I process 12 chickens.

Easy to use and worked great. Harvested 40 Cornish Cross chickens in one day and this machine made it so much easier. Highly recommend!

makes plucking fast and easy
processed 12 cornish x last year by hand took so long and was such a chore for my wife and i that we only did six at a time so it took us two days. We decided we needed to purchaser a plucker if we were going to continue processing our own birds and after shopping around for a year the vevor was on sale for under $300 and i jumped on it. After reading reviews and watching videos on youtube of the vevor and other similar designed pluckers i felt I understood the design weaknesses and and could prevent or repair the issues this economy plucker has. I have processed 26 birds with this plucker so far with absolutely no issues but i am very carefull of keeping the electrical plug high and dry, I use the included clean out hose connected to the feather clean out port with a milk crate underneath to collect feathers but allowing water to pass through, this keeps water and feathers from getting on or in the motor witch could be a potential issue . I am also careful not to spray water on the power/on off buttons This is not a commercial grade machine, but I only process 2-3 dozen chickens a year and i think this plucker will last a long time if the motor and electrical components are kept dry, you only pluck 1 or 2 chickens at a time and don't continually run the motor turn it on throw in a chicken let it do its thang then turn it off. With all that said this plucker is a real game changer for me it makes the whole process of butchering chickens so much easier and faster i was truly shocked at how clean the birds come out and how fast it does it. the only real complaint i have is that it is kinda hard to clean because feathers get wrapped arounf the base of all the rubber fingers and you have to pull stuck feathers out of every finger. If you are like me and only raise 2 or 3 dozen broilers a year and understand the limitations of an economy plucker I would recommend the vevor plucker

Easy to use
Using this machine is so much easier than plucking by hand. It is very easy to clean and use.

Powerful plucker
I bought this for plucking duck. It did get all the feathers out but at the same time it crushed the bones and the meat torn up. I havent tried it on chickens yet. It doesnt come with much options but on and off.

Works good, clean up has issues
It worked good. It could have done a bit better in feather removal but it did remove 95% of them. But one thing I did not like was the cleaning. Many down feathers were stuck under the nipples and I had to use my finger nail to pick them out. And the drum was hard to line up and put back on. So the cleanup process was not fun.

Very handy
Used for meat chickens. Can easy handle 2 birds at a time, wldnt recommend more than 2 birds at a time. Did a really nice job for us and we processed over 40 chickens.

Works great for a great price
I had my doubts about this plucker based on the price compared to others, but I’m impressed. We processed 17 meat birds, each weighing 10+lbs and it handled the task well. Nice large barrel and plenty of power, I can’t wait to try it out with our turkeys this fall.
