Large, Loud, Great.

This thing is Large. This thing is Loud. I bought this to sandblast wood pieces after cutting them on a CNC router. It saves me time from having to process them by hand. It was a pain in the butt to set-up. I had to unscrew some parts and redo them correctly, not because I can't read but because the manual has images packed full of multiple installation steps in one picture as well as multiple numbered paragraphs that somewhat relate to them. Take a really close look at what pieces overlap others when setting it up. Make sure you have someone to help you. I did it by myself and only hurt myself a few times. It would've been better if someone else was there to laugh at my mistakes. Please keep in mind that the product comes in two packages. The cabinet arrived first for me. I panicked when I couldn't find the vacuum/sandblast media reclaimer, but a quick look at the shipment details showed that two packages were sent from two different places. Running this together with a compressor uses quite a bit of power, so make sure your power outlets can handle it. Wear ear protection if you value your hearing. I made some modifications to this. Instead of using the air hose barb fittings, I bought a 10mm OD Polyurethane Hose kit. The kind that uses push to connect fittings. It was a bit difficult to remove the barb fitting from the sand blasting gun, but with a bench vise, a wrench and all the passion I could muster it was possible. An upgrade I installed was a pressure regulator/moisture filter I installed on the side of the cabinet. I also installed a push to connect splitter on the hose inside the cabinet which I used to connect an air spray gun, so I can blow dust/debris from the parts I've sandblasted. I plan to add better lighting at some point in the future. I recommend this sand blasting cabinet.

Fantastic sandblaster, just a bit leaky
Reviewed on Dec 23, 2024
This sandblaster is the ultimate. It's compact and the perfect size for my job of sandblasting glasses. I'm careful to wear goggles and a good quality mask, as there is a lot of dust that escapes the box. I hooked up a shopvac to the filter hole and that helped but if you're using aluminum oxide, be sure to use goggles with rubber gaskets around eyes and recommended respirator with a good seal. Do not underestimate the effects of aluminum oxide. I taped the seams that were emitting dust with duct tape and that helped a bit, but there is still leakage. Overall, it's a great sandblaster, for the price.

This cabinet works very good I install a led light to add more lighting 5 star rating. Vacuum works well. Take a little time to put together but will save you time on cleaning Parts up. There are holes in the bottom of the legs if you want to put wheels on it

This unit works effectively for its size. I am only blasting smaller parts but it does them quite well. good machine for small use would not recommend for large projects as it would be difficult to use. Overall happy with the price and operation for my purposes.

I would suggest some airflow for visibility

I found that dust builds up on the window quickly. I'm sure a dust extractor hooked up to the hole in the back would help a lot. Other than that, works great.

It works but you have to adjust somethings.

I like this sandblaster once I changed a few things. I added another LED light and a dust collector I made myself from an old small shop vac. I added an air input On/Off valve. I also learned there is a certain amount of media you need to run it correctly, I used fine glass. Took a few days of blasting with this sandblaster to learn these different things but well worth the price. One more thing the 5 clear sheets they send with he sandblaster are nice but run out fast so fine some the simalur size and go ahead and order yourseld some, you will defentliy need them.
