I have done several batches of jerky and it has worked well

I have done several things in mine and it is easy. I wish that it would go a little lower than 86 degree's as I think it would be better for drying my pasta. The only problem if the latch could be better.

Excellent machine plenty of room, love the ease of use, set it and forget it. Bought for myself but whole family loves it. Wife is hooked on my meat.

Works great for making jerkey I would recommend, must keep away from Burnaby substances as it gets warm, other than that it does a great job and is easy to clean and use

Good price, good value..

I have been using this reasonably priced dehydrator for about a year now, and it does a great job on everything from fresh fruits, herbs, and vegetables to beef jerky and snack sticks. The ten trays provide a lot of drying surface (almost 1200 sq in). Although the temperature settings are predetermined, I have found the choices satisfactory and the thermostat reasonably accurate. I bought silicone material on Amazon.com to cut and make my own tray liners which prevents food from sticking to the wires and stops very small items such as blueberries from falling through the wire openings as they shrink. This dehydrator replaced an American Harvest dehydrator I purchased more than 20 years ago -- I still use it for overflow dehydrating.

I purchased one of these on a whim due to constantly being out of room in my round dehydrators. I regret not starting with one of these! Works like a dream and super easy to use. I will 100% be buying more!

This machine works excellent at a fraction of the cost of more expensive dehydrators. In my opinion, this unit has way more air flow and features than others. The stainless steel construction makes cleanup a breeze.

I make apple chips for humans, dried meat for dogs, dried tomatoes, beets, peppers and onions and garlic to make powder to add to soups, stews and salads. I no longer waste all the free food the gardeners give us, I do not garden
