Quality and easy to install.
No assembly required; just needs to be mounted to workbench. Comes with mounting bolts. Took maybe 5 minutes to install, including drilling holes in workbench.Comes with plastic-covered magnetic vice faces that make it easy to handle all kinds of material.Swivels very easily to any angle.Very heavy and solid! Feels like a quality casting with no cheap parts. The box arrived looking as if it had traveled through a disaster zone, but the vice itself was undamaged.

Great for small to medium projects!
This is a great vise for any small to medium project you may have. It's VERY well made and sturdy, secures very nicely to your workbench and once it's on there, it stays put. It really helps you measure and cut a lot easier...but it's got quite a few other uses too. It is a plus that the opening is fairly wide so it's versatile enough to use for larger projects too.Overall, we are really pleased with this. It's a great value for the money - you really cannot go wrong with it. I highly recommend it!!

Very Heavy. Easy to Use.
This is a medium sized vice and is pretty heavy. The shipping box was bit tore up, but the vice was still perfect. It comes on a base that bolts onto your work surface with the included bolts and paper template. The vice is able to swivel on the base, but you can lock the base so it doesn't swivel as well. Opening the vice is smooth with the rotating handle. It also includes two hard rubber pads for the jaws to help secure and protect whatever your clamping. Very handy tool for the DIYer.

A side by side comparison
“VEVOR Bench Vise, 6-inch Jaw Width 5.9-inch Jaw Opening, 360-Degree Swivel Locking Base Multipurpose Vise w/ Anvil, Heavy Duty Ductile Iron Workbench Vise w/ Bolts & Nuts, for Drilling, Pipe Cutting”I ordered this bench vise with the notion that I could use it to replace my Craftsman 6-inch bench vise that I bought back in 1985.The Craftsman vise has served me very well while being bolted to my gigantic work bench - automobile repairs, various construction projects, plumbing projects - you name it.It’s definitely taken a beating, but it always did its job very well of securely clamping every object I’ve worked on, allowing me to hammer and bend all types of steel into submission, and enabling me to super-squeeze various materials while brute-forcing them into different shapes and sizes. My first impression of this new VEVOR vise was how much smaller it is than my old Craftsman vise. I measured almost every portion of each vise to compare, and the measurements confirm that this new vise is smaller in every possible way, except for the width of the jaws being 6 inches for both vises.I didn’t get out my scale to compare exactly how much each vise weighs, but this new vise is definitely much lighter when lifted. All of these comparisons lead me to the conclusion that the VEVOR vise probably isn’t going to work out for my purposes. I just don’t see how its smaller and thinner gauge metal will be able to withstand the forces necessary to assist me in all of my projects. It’s definitely for light to moderate jobs, and it doesn’t really make sense for me to bolt an additional vise to my bench just for light work.Don’t get me wrong, this vise seems well made and it operates very well. Also, the magnetized jaw pads are a nice addition, and they could really come in handy when clamping items that you don’t want to leave serrated teeth marks squeezed into the material. If you don’t need a heavy duty vise for demanding projects, this vise will probably work out very well. Spiffs up my workbench
This replaces a 'tired' ancient and slightly smaller bench vise I acquired in a farm sale several years ago. Because it has all the features I wanted, I have no reservations in recommending it. It is a bit bigger and has better jaws than the older one. It also comes complete with the mounting bolts.

Extremely nice vice
This bench vice is incredibly well made and sturdy. This vice has a swivel locking base to easily secure it to your workbench. Once secure this vice stays put and does not shift at all. This vice is cast iron making it incredibly sturdy, the jaw opening and width are perfect for most projects. This vice is very easy to open as well as shut. Once you shut your project into the vice it is nice and secure, giving you worry free grip while you work with it. I was able to secure a beam into the vice while I cut it and it stayed secure without making up my beam.I definitely recommend this vice, it is incredibly sturdy and easy to use. This vice makes cutting, measuring or anything you need with your project a breeze. This vice gives you the security to know you can work on your project without worrying about your materials slipping.

Nice light to medium work vise
This vise seems to be a good buy if you’re looking to do some light to medium duty work in the garage. Swivel base functions fine, has an anvil and pipe jaw along with the normal jaws.

Heavy duty
No complaints about the vice. Comes with everything you need to bolt it down and functions properly. Fairly straight forward.

good vice for small projects
For the price, this is a great vice as long as you don't expect too much from a vice with a maximum jaw opening just over 3 inches. If you think of this vice as an extra set of hands to hold something while you cut / drill / solder / etc, it should serve you well. If you're looking for a vice that you can beat on like an anvil - this isn't it (you'll need something much bigger and much more expensive).
