I’ve seen other people use this type of rack and wanted to give it a try. I have a Dodge Ram 1500 and this pad fits it perfectly. I do like the access patch – makes it easy to unlatch the tail gate. I did have some difficulty during setup, I found it hard to feed the straps under the tailgate – its definitely better to have another person help with this during setup. The pad is durable and definitely protects the finish on my truck and the Velcro straps do keep the bikes in place. One thing to note, the pad does not offer any security mechanism. Fortunately, though, my truck has built in eye-bolts that I loop a chain through to secure my bikes.

Fits my 2015 Tacoma double cab short bed perfect. Not the best looking as mine didn’t have the Vero logo but I kind of like the all black. I couldnt see spending $60 more dollars on the same thing just for a fox logo.Also it has the pockets to put wet or muddy gloves and pads for the drive home.

Very sturdy but the straps are a little hard to get through the tailgate. Once you get them on and strapped up everything is very secure.

I almost considered just folding a moving blanket over the tailgate of my truck to serve this purpose, before deciding to try this, and I am so glad I didn't. This tailgate pad is very well padded and attaches quite securely to your tailgate, so you don't have to worry about it shifting or departing your vehicle as you speed down the freeway or bounce around off-road. The padding is thick enough that it should isolate any friction of the bikes from the paint on your tailgate so you don't get rub marks. It attaches and detaches quickly so you're not having to spend 30 minutes prior to leaving or after returning, fussing with it. All in all, a great value.

This pad holds my mountain bike in place very well on my 2015 Chevy Colorado tailgate. It was a little difficult to thread the straps through the crack under my tailgate. The only other minor issue is that it is very easy to steal; it would be nice to have a way to secure it to a lock chain. Other than that, it is really nice and the tailgate handle door lets me see through the backup camera.

Only issue is a strap broke immediately when I was setting it up in the tail gate. Other than that worked great

Should be easier to install with buckles. Could cover more tailgate as well. But an affordable solution

Got this tailgate pad for my new Tacoma to protect the gate from bikes, lumber transport, and lots of other items. It's very soft on the tailgate portion, and shouldn't scratch the paint at all. It's also pretty easy to install, but taking it off can be a slight pain. Overall, this is a decent pad for the price, and if you're not looking to buy name-brand, it can save you quite a bit of money for what's essentially the same thing as the big boys.
