This is a 2\" hitch, D-Ring Shackle. It is heavy, and solid. It ships in a cardboard box that has a foam insert. It is well protected in its box. This one comes with a hitch basic pin, that is held by a spring pin. This is not a locking pin, but I am ok with it because I would not lave this on the truck. I would only use if for emergency recovery. The Item I received, although it was well packaged, had a large paint chip. This did not happen in the foam box, therefore they must have shipped it in the factory, but they did not take any effort to touch it up. The shipping box is well packed, but they do not supply a box for your truck. This is too heavy to be sliding around in the back. They should supply a hard zipper case.

This is a nice, heavy-duty shackle that’s great to have in the truck box just in case! Got this to keep in my 2500 to have on hand when needed. The hitch receiver is solid and can be rotated 90 degrees to accommodate different shackle orientations. The shackle itself is solid and looks sharp with the red coating. Not sure how durable the rubber pieces are yet - they look good out of the box, but I doubt they’’ll be around for long. The just came with everything needed including 2 extra washers to go between the shackle and the hitch. Overall happy with the purchase - this will serve me well for what I need. It’s super solid, and the price is right!
