This shackle is very heavy duty. The pin is the same as a 3/4” shackle. I installed this horizontally. The shackle comes with rubber washers installed to reduce noise when driving. It also comes with washers for the pin to hold it in place. Feels very well made and it looks great. I haven’t put it to use just yet but I’m sure it won’t disappoint.

This is great for towing or dragging things that do not have a ball mount. Fit, finish and construction appear to have been done with some care. Not a mark on it when it arrived either. While I find the rubber/plastic 'protection' ring a nice feature, it's unlikely that will last all that long if you are using chains or cable with this. If you are using tow rope or tow straps it should last a little longer. Good snug fit into the two receivers I tried this in and I like that it can be used vertically or horizontally. Comes with a pin and clip to hold it in place. I see this as a good value and find it easy to recommend.

Pros: Heavy, well made, sturdy, well designed. Cons: Lacks matching heavy duty carrying case/bag.

This shackle is extremely heavy-duty. The thing is HEAVY and SOLID. Fit's the 2 inch receiver as advertised with no issues. Shackle itself is very sturdy and the red color is super snazzy. Put it on my old Jeep and the thing looks GREAT. Just the right pop of color.

Seems like really good quality. I really like the way it looks. I haven't pulled anything with it yet but I would trust it. It is very good quality.

This is a 2\" hitch, D-Ring Shackle. It is heavy, and solid. It ships in a cardboard box that has a foam insert. It is well protected in its box. This one comes with a hitch basic pin, that is held by a spring pin. This is not a locking pin, but I am ok with it because I would not lave this on the truck. I would only use if for emergency recovery. The Item I received, although it was well packaged, had a large paint chip. This did not happen in the foam box, therefore they must have shipped it in the factory, but they did not take any effort to touch it up. The shipping box is well packed, but they do not supply a box for your truck. This is too heavy to be sliding around in the back. They should supply a hard zipper case.

This is a nice, heavy-duty shackle that’s great to have in the truck box just in case! Got this to keep in my 2500 to have on hand when needed. The hitch receiver is solid and can be rotated 90 degrees to accommodate different shackle orientations. The shackle itself is solid and looks sharp with the red coating. Not sure how durable the rubber pieces are yet - they look good out of the box, but I doubt they’’ll be around for long. The just came with everything needed including 2 extra washers to go between the shackle and the hitch. Overall happy with the purchase - this will serve me well for what I need. It’s super solid, and the price is right!
