I got a misaligned band for the glass receptical. I contacted them, and they sent me a new one. No questions asked and did it ASAP (it had to be ordered from their German facility). In the meantime, I used the distiller. This is the first I have ordered from Vevor and it is far better than the others I had from other companies. It gives me clear good tasing water...I use it for coffee, my cpap and my distiller. It leaves no residue in the cpap or distiller. This distiller is easy to set up and use. It gives wonderful results. I highly recommend it.

The distiller works good for me and I use a count down timer to shut off the power after 5.5 hours so the water in the bottom doesn't boil dry. I use vinegar to clean it out after each use but can use the vinegar several times. I am making a batch about every other day.

I have another almost identical unit for years, it has held up well. That unit has both centigrade and Fahrenheit, and three read outs, current temperature, target temperature and counting down timer. This unit only has centigrade and does not show the current temperature. A quibble and not worth returning, but if I had noticed the difference I would have looked for a unit with the missing attributes.

It will help with transportation of distilled water - as in I will not routinely need to transport those heavy, awkward things on a bicycle!

Works as described

Bought it for my countertop ice maker (to avoid limescale buildup) and also ended up using it for my teas and coffee. Great little machine and it's humongous!

Besides drinking the water, I am using the distilled water for washing my hair. My hair is smooth, shiny, very soft, and now minimal conditioner is needed for my long hair. People are complimenting on how shiny it is and i can now stretch out the washing days from every 3 days to now 5 days. I spritz it on my face before toning. Beauty is pain, cold water poured over your head from a bottle is not the greatest feeling but well worth it. I think it is a real beauty secret. Great product.

I've used this every week. I make 2 to 3 gallons each time. I set my timer for 3:35 minuets. This leaves just a little water left. No cleaning necessary.

I use it every day. Takes about 3 - 4 hours to make a batch of water. You should see what is left over on the bottom, you will never drink tap water again! This is my second one, the first lasted almost 2 years. It would have been longer the the plug wore out. So be gentle plugging and unplugging the power cord to the boiler and the cord to the condenser. Overall, definitely worth the money for the cleanest water you can drink
