We love ours. We got two and they feel very heavy duty and they latch really well. We use them for making maple syrup and with the lids we don't have to worry about spilling when we carry it to the house for canning.

This thing top quality. Thicker steel than expected and very well built. The lid makes a very tight seal too.

I purchased this milk transport pail because I hand milk five goats twice a day and needed something to carry milk back and forth from the barn to my house. I love that it’s easy to carry and really easy to clean. One thing I noticed was when it was brand new out of the box it had a gray/black film all over it, which was unpleasant but it easily came off with some good hot water and soap. I didn’t notice it on the inside. It arrived faster than the estimated shipping time, too. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend this for hand milkers.

I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s well made, strong, easy to clean and is holding up well with our daily milking routine. When it arrived, it had a strong smell that initially concerned me. It wasn’t a chemical smell but appeared to be related to production somehow. The underside of the can was covered in a thick black layer of wet dust or grease that we cleaned very thoroughly before use. Even though it was on the outside, we didn’t want to take any chances. I have no idea what it was but it did come off without too much fuss.
