Very sturdy and I feel safe in the chair with the side bars. Very hard for me to put it together since I just had surgery. Had to hire someone to put it together. More parts than I thought.

Got this because my wife had a knee replacement and she needed a shower chair. It was easy to assemble, after a little problem. The instructions are not very clear, so I put it together, with the legs 90 degrees, from where they should be. They fit both ways. When the legs are 90 degrees out, the arms do not fit.
