don't know why it took me so long to order these! One of THE BEST purchases I've made in a long time. These hose covers are Heavy duty-commercial grade and super easy to lay in place and/or relocate. Great product!

I provide sound for live music and speaking events. I purchased the cable protectors to cover cables running from our sound booth to the stage in areas where the cables would be stepped on and could cause someone to trip. I wasn't sure if they were the best ones for my needs and took a chance. They worked great! They are heavy and lay flat on grass and other surfaces. I've used them on 3 occasions right after purchasing them. I used them to cover a thick extension core and a couple of Cat 5 cords with no problems. They weren't to obtrusive and they were easily seen. I will be purchasing more in the future!

This is the real deal - perfect for protecting a couple of standard extension cables. However, although I am currently using for a 50 amp RV cable, the inset in the underside of the cable protector is not deep enough for the diameter of the cable, so the cable protrudes below the lower flat side, increasing the chances of abrasion to the cable with every movement over the protector. I suppose you could use another cable protector upside down underneath to fully protect the cable, but this would increase the trip hazard. Another option that I have not tried might be to use 3 protectors in a pyramid style, two on either side of the main one as addition supports, but I can't imagine that arrangement holding. It would be nice to have a slightly bigger version of this cable protector ramp able to fully enclose a 50 amp cable. But for standard 25-50 foot 12 gauge extension cables, two will easily fit. Not so sure about a 10 gauge.

I bought these cable protectors to use in my driveway to protect my 1/2]\" drip irrigation tubing from being crushed and to keep people from tripping on the tubing. I was very pleased when I saw the quality. They are heavy duty rubber and meet the specifics as listed. They are industrial strength and have enough weight to keep them from shifting. The box is heavy!

I need to run a garden hose across my front sidewalk to position the lawn sprinkler. These 1channel cable protectors are just the ticket for providing a trip-free cover over the hose where it crosses the sidewalk. Similarly, I use two cable protectors lengthwise to span my garage doorway to protect the hose from wear and tear from the car entering and exiting the garage. Excellent product.

I think it's odd that they say you have to use bolts to use these but they don't come with bolts. Either way, I have used them all summer to keep from driving over my garden hose and am happy with the purchase.
