TL/DR summary: great value for a quality steamer that allows for steaming a little or a lot at the same time.When making steamed Chinese buns, one tends to make a large batch. My wife’s new hobby has been to find new versions of steamed buns to make, and then gift to all our friends and relatives. This meant making a lot at once and I wanted to find something that would allow her to only have to use one steamer to make Large batches. Enter this multi level steamer picked this particular one because of how many levels it has, and more importantly, the versatility of its base. It is compatible with electric gas and induction stoves. This worked out perfectly when we needed to use a portable induction stove as a heat source when our school did a food fair. No open flames were allowed, but we did have power, and it worked out fantastic. I was concerned about using this beautiful steamer on the gas stove as sometimes on some cookware, the gas stove leaves marks. But the steel base on the bottom has stayed wonderfully clean. The only complaint I have is not about this particular steamer but just that having to wash so many layers of pot after the completion of some projects is certainly something I don’t look forward to. But the food that has been coming out of it has been terrific.Highly recommend this steamer, as it is a great value for a high-quality steamer that I think we will be keeping for years to come!
