I was on the fence about buying this grill for a while. I'm so glad I did. I love it! Make sure you season the grill top first. There's plenty of videos on YouTube of how to do it. I would buy again if I needed another one.

Buyer beware this grill has a 16amp plug but also the plug is usa and wont fit aus power point at all, i had an international adaptor on hand and its a high quality adaptor which handles the high amps of the 16 amp grill. next issue was i did season the grill well but found that it did not acheive the quality of non stick i expected. the standard surface seems to be brushed carbon steel but is not 100% smooth / glass like and when i seasoned it it was never right, left sticky areas like gum residue, so i decided to scrub it back then i actually took to it with sand paper wet/n dry, 400 grit. this was very successfull after 30 minutes of wet sanding i got a glass like finish, then i cooked a burger on it it was a game changer excellent non stick surface, the factory brushed finish was the problem. now i can fry a burger and any residue scraped off with my burger spatular and no residue stays. the grill is otherwise great quality and very powerfull (Sears stake perfectly) and im now happy with the purchase $215aud of which im now happy over all.

Home grilling

I absolutely love this griddle. But to anybody looking to buy you should know that it's 120v, but 30 amp, and youll have to hardwire it yourself. Meaning you can't use a regular 120v outlet. I had to tie into my 240v stove and just use 1 hot wire to not blow fuses. If you don't have the knowledge or know somebody willing to wire it for you, do not buy. If you have the means to wire it up I highly recommend.

For the money, this grill ROCKS! I cover the whole top w bacon it all cooked evenly and is done fast. The grease draw is so easy to empty and clean. Plus the top is a couple fo inches deeper than most others of this type!!! Great Buy!

Thus grill is awesome. Has even heat and cooks well easy to clean and gets very hot. Only thing I'd like better is the splash gaurd needs to be abit higher for greater foods. Other then that it awesome. We made a surround guard to go around it so word out good.
