Customer Reviews for VEVOR 3 Phase Converter - 5HP 15A 220V Single Phase to 3 Phase Converter, Digital Phase Shifter for Residential and Light Commercial Use, 220V-240V Input/Output (One Converter for One Motor Only)
I hate it
I tried to return but they keep offering me money to keep it
I paid $220 and they gave me $150 to keep it
I have no use for it at all
Now I just lost $70 to have something that I will never use it
The reason I am giving this a low rating is because of getting support for this item. i have done 2 chat sessions and been told someone would contact me from vevor. They say the product expert will contact you in 24 to 72 hours. I have yet to receive a response. If you buy any item from Vevor, the support will be very poor and unresponsive.
Buyer beware......
I reordered to get one sized correctly for my motor.
This does work.
Motor starting is ruff and noisy. Once the motor starts it run good with a fairly balance phase current.
I am very disappointed. The unit doesn't work so I addressed the technical hotline and received no help. I have been corresponding with Amir and can not get any support with the item. I requested a Return Authorization Number so I could send it back and receive my money back. The last email he offered me a credit of $20 to keep the item. Why would I keep the item if it doesn't work? This has been going on way too long and I have wasted way too much of my time with it. Very Disappointed. I would rate it zero but one star is as low as I can go.
i still have not took this converter out of box because i don't know if i need the 10hp 30 amp one to run my lathe at optimal performance have been waiting on your support team to answer this question for me i will do what they recommend which is best to suit my needs my lathe has a 7.5 hp motor 21.6 amp and my question is will the one i have is sufficient to get the most power to my lathe or do i need next size which is 10 hp 30 amp one you have your answer will be greately appreciated thanks.
This is the 2nd one I've bought, thought maybe the 1st one was defective, & it was past the return window. The voltage is 277 volts on one pole, on both converters. This is causing overheating on my machines. Very disappointed.
