Little crunchy but works well
It's obviously a cheaper rougher chuck, but it's perfect for my little hobby lathe at home. The scroll isn't smooth but it seems to clamp well and pretty repeatedly. Still pretty new so I don't know about longevity.

That it runs true
After taking it apart and cleaning and removing the sharp edges it looks fine had to make a backing plate from a blank to fit my south bend 9A it runs within a few thousand of an inch.

Good chuck!
I don’t think you can beat this for the money. It works great for the welding positioner I built. If you are machining medical devices, this probably isn’t for you.

Das Futter ist OK, sehr einfach gehalten, aber für meine Zwecke völlig ausreichend. Ich mußte den Schlüssel nach feilen, er war zu groß. Ich habe das Futter auf eine Drechselbank montiert, dafür, ausreichend.
