When you are on a boat, in direct sunlight, on top of water, with no shade in sight anywhere you will take any relief you can get. In all those movies where someone is surviving on a raft in the ocean and they are burning to a crisp in the direct, unyielding sunlight you feel so bad for them. Our leisure time on a boat is nowhere near that level of discomfort, but you can get an idea of how miserable that situation is for anyone. This bimini top is there to stand between you, the boat and flaming, bright sun. Shade! Yes! Even if it only gives enough shade for 1 seat on the boat, we'll take it. Good enough. We need to have enough space to do other things on the boat anyway, like fish. Casting fishing lines requires a little bit of overhead freedom, even if it means you have to stay in the sun to do it. No problem. Great top.

Nice weight fabric top with well sewn seams. The Bow are a good thickness aluminum as well. Even the plastic mounting blocks are pretty decent Quality though could be a little thicker. The instructions are terrible though and you should lay everything out and look at the pictures before snapping things together. Over than that we like the shade the top provides and how you can fold it back and cover it with the included bag when not needed.

The install was easy enough. I wasn't able to use the factory mounting locations, but once I got the locations down for the new brackets, it was easy to install. Works great and looks good.

I have been slapping on the sunscreen and getting burnt, the kids have been miserable in the hot sun all these years. With this Bimini top we can get out of the sun and enjoy the day on the water still. Covers just enough to still fish, assembly was pretty self explanatory. It was useful to have another set of hands when installing on boat. Quality and light weight.

This is a nice budget top. It is easy to install but the instructions are not the best. It does not compare to a stainless steel frame with a Sunbrella fabric but neither does the cost. If you are looking to get out of the sun on a budget this works well.

Has a tough frame and good stitching of the material. Good quality alluminun poles and the knob style makes it very simple to adjust. No hassle to set up or lay back when not being used. Handles wind okay. I love the color and it was the proper fit. Not the best instructions but still no problem to figure it out. The buckles are fairly durable and easy to use. I like the deck mounting style. A good value that should hold up for many seasons with proper care.

My boyfriend was burnt in his early yrs. This has helped us to be able to be on the water soooo much more. Love it.

This was easy to install, it takes longer deciding placement than installing it. I put this on my little 14ft Lund and it was like it was custom for for my boat. It retracts easily and quick. I don't have a center console, it is positioned towards the stern, covering the area over the seat in front of the tiller drive. It works well keeping most of the rain and sun off.

I was pretty happy with the material, it seems like it should hold up well over time. Assembly takes a little time as there are mounts you need to install and poles to thread through the canvas. There are two different ways to mount it, depending on if you want it to fold down flat or just fold back and still be sticking up. Make sure you measure your boat before you buy! The item description gives a good graphic on how to measure so you know which size to get. It catches a bit more wind than I am comfortable with when running fast, so I will only use it for trolling, meandering, or sitting still in the water. The poles are just thin aluminum, after all. I do admit it makes fishing on sunny days a bit more comfortable, just need to adjust the way I cast! The blue color goes well with my blue boat.
