I am a personal chef or an amateur chef. I needed something for vegetables and french fries. This is somewhat of an overkill but I must tell you the build quality is professional. It's easy to clean and there's no much that can go wrong with this particular mechanical procedure. If you do use it on russet potatoes, you've basically have to hammer it down now. I use this three times the four times a week

Exactly what it was represented to be. It a fabulous tool. We are enjoying it very much. The delivery service was excellent.

My husband is Italian and makes the most awesome spaghetti sauce. We make about 50 quarts at a time with involves chopping 10 lbs onions and 10 lbs mushrooms. That alone usually takes us most of one day. We bought this for the specific purpose of helping cut down the time involved. Boy did it ever. It cut the chopping time from 10 hours down to less than 3 hours. Additionally, I am quite impressed with how easily it breaks down for cleaning. The ONLY issue I might possibly have is that it can be difficult to get vegetable skins (that really thin stuff) off when spraying the blade assembly with water.

Very sturdy unit and will hold up to potatoes and carrots that other brands couldn't. Two minor gripes that prevented 5 star was wish apple slicer accommodated larger apples and the pin that connects handle to the push block is a little awkward to remove for cleaning and put back. Made my own that didn't have the ball catch and was much easier.

Excellent. Steady and forceful handle grip. After chopping 20+ onions it gets easier. Chop onion in half from top to root then half again. Place one quarter at a time and chop away.
