This is Absolute Junk or I just got unlucky and got a Lemon.
It lasted 15 minute before it broke down on me. I had purchased the drain cleaner right after needing a plumber to clear my drains so thought it would be great to have one ready so I can do it myself in the future. I suspect most people will not use it straight away after purchase. In my case I had it sitting in its original boxes (which were just two random cardboard boxes) for all that time.
A friend then needed it, so I took it to his place to use. 15 minutes later while it was idling, we hear a pop sound. It stopped working. I get onto Vevor tech support. The warranty period for this product is only 1 year and given I had purchased it 2 years ago, even though I only used it the one time for 15 minutes there wasn't much I could do. They did however feel sorry for my situation but in the end I was strung along for 5 weeks of frustration.....
First I was told I need to send a video of proof that it wasn't working. I did this very clearly.
Secondly I was then told to buy a capacitor to fix it and they would give me $15 refund for this. I took them up on this and even asked that they could send me the capacitor instead but they said they had none in stock. So I sourced my own capacitor waited for it to arrive and this ended up not fixing it. Meantime they kept telling me that the $15 is sent to my paypal and to wait 1 or 2 business days. This dragged on. Finally this got paid 2 weeks later.
Then I get back to them to let them know that the new capacitor was put into the machine and it still wasn't working (I showed proof of this). The solution was that I could pay $92 through paypal and they would send me a new one. I agreed straight away and thought this was a fair resolution. However a few days later I get told "Sorry we don't have any in stock in the warehouse near you to send to you." Meanwhile I told them that I can actually order one on their website right now and I am sure that would be able to come to my house no problems.
So now they offered to refund me for my $92 +$30 for all the annoyance and being mucked around. This took more than 2 more weeks of back and forth to get this money back. Each time I get told it has been put into my paypal and I just need to wait 1 or 2 business days.
* Overall the product was bad. Who would want to pay a few hundred dollars for something that lasts 15 minutes?
* The support was wishy washy, promising me things, but needing to be constantly reminded to follow through, and in my case they lied about giving me a replacement for the deal they initially came up with. I never haggled once for the deals I was offered.
* Support also didn't give me any help with how I can possibly fix it myself or if I can buy any replacement parts to fix it (ie a motor). So now I am stuck with some junk that doesn't work.
