Only complaint was should have better assembly instructions for attaching the swivel top portion as far as inside or outside of claw for fkat bar.

This tool is very useful moving logs around with my tractor bucket. I was non anticipating having to put it together and with the terrible instructions, I am not sure I did it correctly. Mine does not open and close freely like it should which makes using it almost a 2 person job. I wish they included a photo or drawing showing exactly how the arms connect to each other as in inside or outside. Still, I would purchase again.

I actually recommend this for picking logs up vertically. When skidding, a single claw hook is more versatile, as the double doesn't bit as well pulling parallel to the log. However, perpendicular bite is much more stabile for lifting, where this shines.

I received my claw very quickly and was impressed with how robust it is. I've only used it once, but it should hold up well. I might sharpen the points on the jaws, to grab smaller and square pieces, but overall it's a heavy duty material mover.

We just bought land and needed away to move trees that we have cleared on our property. The log hook surprised me at how strong it was effortlessly clamping onto and moving 12 to 16 inch diameter logs well into the thousand pound range. There is one design flaw. It requires either two people to use because you have to disengage the cloth which naturally clamps when lifting I managed to tie a rope to one into the claw and lead it back to my tractor steering wheel, I would just pull on it and it would release the jaw from the log that I was working with. It would be a great addition to add a release strap to the log claw but other than that I’m very impressed and would buy again if needed, but I don’t think I’ll need it. It’s solid steel.

Excellent tool. Helpful to have a buddy help.position it. Useful for lifting concrete pieces and any other yard materials you need relocated.

Nice item, very heavy duty, but also Very heavy. Worth the money. Some assembly required. But not bad.

Product is heavy duty. It would be better if the heavy hook would fit with a heavy duty chain - the hook opening is too small for big link chains.
