Love this Rotary tool. Much more versatile that my Dremel. Stronger and the foot pedal is awesome.

Love this tool!
Bought this to make jewelry. It's perfect. Works well and has served me well. My only complaint is the plastic foot pedal is too light weight, I find it moves around too easily. I will probably upgrade to a metal one at some point.

Very happy with this purchase
Very nice, easy to use, powerful, I can't think of anything I don't like about it.

Like it so far! It's an upgrade from a dremel 300 with 30000 hrs.
My dremel 300 is barely alive after 15 years of metal polishing, drilling, cutting bolts, trimming siding installs with who knows how many hours. The power cable is so chemically destroyed from metal polishing that it crumbling. The rubber casing is almost completely dissolved off. The speed controller works intermittently. The bearings are so worn that it gets too hot to hold after 30 mins of straight usage. Repairing it is not cost effective. It was time to upgrade!I purchased a Dremel 4300 to replace it. It just too big to hold for long periods. Purchased the flex cable. Mounted it and the cable vibrates way too much. Then I didn't like that the speed control and power switch were too far away. I purchased a footswitch... That didn't work. Turned up the speed control to 100% then the pedal cuts in and out. Can't use it on an speed controlled dremel. Can't use a foot switch on any electric motors with centrifugal switches either. Now it was over $200 into this setup and wasn't happy. Returned all of it.Searching and reading and comparing reviews for hours and hours lead me here to this unit. It was very close to the getting Dremel Fortiflex at $250. The harbor freight unit was out with way too many negative reviews. That was $50 too. It's a lot of work to try and determine the general unhappy whiners from real reviews with real problems.I picked this unit up after reading the reviews and taking the chance. I'm sure everyone has been there. The unit came in a generic foam packaging. It was setup quickly hanging up. Read the manual with adjusting the sheath at 3/4" and making sure it not being used in a tight angle. The sheath needed to be adjusted as it was sticking out at 1 1/4". I spinned it at slow speeds with a few burst speeds for 5 mins. No issues. The only problem so far is the chuck. The jaws get jammed during opening and closing at certain spots. Prepare for some back and forth with the wrench if the jaws get jammed. Remove the handpiece for this working of the jaws. some 3in1 oil helped. Back and forth, back and forth tapping on the bench to free the jaws... slowly it's clearing up the jammed spots.A 1/4 hex shaft will fit. You have to run down the jaws all the way until they bottom out. This area was really rough with jammed jaws. Just keep working it with oil and tapping when they jam. The threads will come clean. It needs an autobrake. It takes 7 seconds for it to spin down at full speed. That can eat at my patience level during the constant change tools.I plan on getting the small chuck like the dremel to quick change 3/32 and 1/8" tools. I have to make sure it concentric though. Any suggestions. This unit won't be used in a heavy load use, just polishing and some grinding. So far, so good with the foot pedal control! It would be nice if the foot pedal had better speed control. The variable speed control works from 0-30% then bursts to full power. Which is fine for some low speed polishing...
