Heavy weight tubing. Handles high wind.
Manufacturer says it is made from heavier (thicker) tube stock. With 3X5 flag it has gone through winds gusting above 25mph. Florida thunderstorms often have winds approaching 35+ mph. This flag pole definately weathered the storms.

Flag pole lanyard is cheap garbage
Had to buy new pole lanyard and cleat. Polyester lanyard that came with pole came apart after a month. Cleat broke .
