Some reviews stated that these were less than the standard nominal 6\"x6\" width, requiring one to cut the timber to fit. Regardless, this is not a big deal, so I went ahead with the purchase. BUT, happily I measured the inside width at exactly 5.5\", so NO cutting required. These are built very well. The best deal on a post base out there.

Great Bracket worked and looks great. Only problem was anchor bolts. Were some oddball size not SAE or metric and could not find concrete bit to match size and the bolts were too long and nuts very sloppy on threads and was worried they would strip out so I bought some US made anchor bolts.

bought these to secure the pergola posts. the stainless steel finish will look very nice with cedar posts.

These worked great. Good quality and adjustable. The hardware included is definitely on the light side, so I upgraded that for the most part. All in all, I’m pleased with this purchase and would buy them again.

Great quality in stainless steel, not galvanized. Packaged nicely. I wish embed bolts were larger diameter. I will try them out. They shorted me a mounting plate, still missing.
