High quality graphite crucible
This is my first graphite crucible I've used and it seems to be pretty high quality, compared to a silicone carbide crucible that I have used before, only time will tell how long it holds up. I like how smooth the surface of this crucible is but not sure how long the smooth surface is supposed to last. It's very important to follow the direction about the initial first heating and cooling to prolong the life of your crucible

Best one I've owned
I have a CV jewelry forge that takes this kind of crucible. Many other makes have disintegrated with use and don't fit well in the neck of the forge. This one is perfect. There's no possibility of it slipping into the opening. The fit is snug, but not tight and the surface holds up well with use. I have it saved in my list for future purchases.

Good value
Not much bubble wrap in the box, but they survived the trip across the country intact. The size is identical to the one that came with my melting furnace, and they look great. Don't know about their longevity yet, but no reason to think it won't be comparable to other brands. These really look well made. If they weren't out of stock I would buy a couple more.

Decent quality, but very fragile.
I bought a few of these Crucibles to melt various types of precious metals in so I wouldn't cross contaminate by using the same one over and over. They work great and seem to heat evenly, but must be handled with care. I accidentally dropped one into the Furnace too quickly and broke the lip completely off of it. Totally my fault, and I don't blame the craftsmanship of the product.

Great for melting aluminum and copper
I get 10-15 firings when melting aluminum with this crucible, for copper i wouldn’t pass 6-7. 5-6 to be on the safe side so it won’t crack while pouring. Never fill it up all the way to the rim.fill 3/4 ideally. When new: Always heat upto 500c for 15-20 mins first time using and then increase to 900c empty for 15 mins or so. then let it cool inside the furnace overnight. Afterwards you can start melting metal and get more firings out of it. Do not bang or drop it. Always heat your prongs, clamps and any other tools that may come in contact with the hot crucible. Always heat your molds to prevent steam explosions. Use protective gloves, shoes, goggles etc….

These are Good Quality and if anyone is interested the 3KG Graphite Crucibles still do fit in a 2KG Table top Electric Furnace of the kind Vevor used to supply (like mine) and work fine.

Graphite crux.
I used 2 other crucible to melt a tiny piece of gold that I own and with the other 2 crucibles, the graphite ashed and the gold was not binding to make a solid nugget. I used flux in both crucibles and still the gold wouldn't bind because the crucibles were ashing. With this VEVOR vendor crucible, it bound immediately and poured in one solid piece. After the 1 one use at 1050°C the crucible is still smooth with little wear. I only used the other 2 crucibles a few times at less temperature. Nice crucible with VEVOR
