Helpful Safety/Security Feature?

Seems to be a good value so far. Lights tell you the status of the motor: green light you're good, but red lights...well, that's trouble (see photo).

Excellent electric hoist for the money. Sadly its let down by hasty assembly and average QC. They should be more careful in their assembly (...I found several pinched 240V electrical wires, which could have become a problem after a few uses). However its still a great product for the money. VIVA Vevor!
