Excellent Value Vacuum chamber
Overall a good product, the kit was missing a second seal ring and it would not begin vacuum . . not sealing. The Customer Service was persistent in understanding English to know what was needed. I imagine they were as frustrated as me, but stuck with the process and after a slow boat, I got the part. The interaction was clunky, but they did not hesitate. The vacuum pump pulled within a faction of the actual barometer and the valves and hoses sealed. It held a constant vacuum for more than 24 hrs. In my experience that is tough to attain. Even with the delay to put in service - it is RECOMMENDED. The best part is it has a thick GLASS cover. It is stiff and durable, and by far the best attribute of this product and alone worth the price.

Does its job!
works well, works pretty quick. puts off a lot of smoke and probably better used outside, but it’s not the worst. I think it’s just burning a little oil. but hey, whatcha gonna do!? it’s cheap, it seals and pulls most the air out within 5 min or less…

Nice job
The vacuum pump and chamber worked perfectly. The pump reduced vacuum to -27.5 in Hg very quickly. I was happily surpised with the performance. vacuum chamber held vacuum even when the pump was off .Vacuum didn't drop even after 30 minutes, Nice Job!

This little vacuum system is perfect for my needs. Small epoxy projects are having much better results now that I can remove the air bubbles before pourings. Easy to set up and use.

Great value, good quality, incredible price. Easy to use, relatively quiet. I am using it to degas epoxy resin and impregnate wood with resin.

Gets the job done
I've been using this to degas silicone and it gets the job done, but it's a little slow and could benefit from a stronger vacuum pump. Some tips - - Use a silicone with a pot life of 15 minutes (cure time 45 minutes) or more, otherwise your silicone may gel while pouring after waiting for it to fully degas. - Mix your silicone components in a jug (with a spout) that is at least 8x the height of the mixture in the same jug, or your mixture will rise so high while degassing that it will spill over the edge. - Don't put the jug of liquid silicone directly under the opening in the pot lid. If the mixture is under the opening, air will re-enter the chamber when you open the inlet valve and cause a jet of gas to push itself into the mixture, creating more bubbles. If the container you're using is too big to achieve this, don't open the inlet valve all the way - just let air in slowly so it doesn't smash into the mixture. - after degassing, pour the silicone from 20-30cm above the mould box or positive so that it pours in a thin stream, and any remaining bubbles will pop.
