I got my VEVOR Swimming 1/2 HP 110V Hot Tub 0.37 Kw Water Circulation Spa Pump today and had to check out the connections as a few have said the fittings are not standard US pipe size. My schedule 40 pipe fits perfectly into the pump fittings. Maybe they read some of the bad reviews and fixed the fitting size. I’ll power it up tomorrow and see if it will self prime. According to the directions that came with the pump it doesn’t look Iike it will self prime. I’ll update this after I check out how it operates. UPDATE: After connecting the plumbing this Vevor pump will not self prime. The only directions that come with this pump are for using it with a hot tub, spa, or something similar where the water level is above the pump so it is always primed. I’ll need to modify my in ground pool plumbing to use this pump with my newly purchased inverter heat pump pool heater.

Definitely a great product! I saved roughly $1,500 buying this unit for my pool and installing it myself. It was super easy!

High quality pump & Motor. Pump is noticeably quiet. On the motor side, it was NEMA(USA) standards not IEC (rest of planet) very quiet, and exhibited extraordinarily little vibration, well within standards. I would put this product up against any usa pump/ motor combination. The seals looked standard also. All this at a great price!

The pump is made of excellent material. The only problem I have with the pump is that it will not pump the water.

Was easy to install, just a little tricky with the different fitting sizes. It didn't take long to clean the Pool water. Only run it for an hour or so a day for maintenance purposes. Was absolutely amazed at the price of this pump compared to the price of the aqua colored pump I would normally buy including the freight. I could have bought 3 of these pumps and still come out of the deal cheaper. Thanks again for providing a quality pump. Just a little trick I learnt, when emptying the sock in the basket turn off the pump otherwise it will create a vortex and you'll end up with air in the pump.

This pool pump is amazing works perfectly for my 15 round pool it's very quiet it was very easy to connect to my filter I would definitely shop again on Vevor. Shipping was the next day that was amazing to me.

Awesome pump! Just be aware that the coupling fittings with unit aren't standard American size. All you need is 1.5" male bushing type 40 pvc and likely a few feet of flexible hose from local hardware store. Glue it up, good to go.
