The vevor electric honey extractor 4/8 Is excellent in all ways! Price, quality, performance. I would recommend this to any bee keeper. It is simple to use and easy to clean and set up. I would definitely buy again!

Great extractor, easy to put together. Just follow directions. Seems sturdy and motor runs steady. Cannot be this extractor for the money. I built a 2x4 plywood base so when extraction season comes I can bolt the extractor to the base and then remove it for storage.

Price: I got mine 4/8 frame unit for $250. I think it's a good price for an electric extractor Quality: as expected for a unit below $300, the metal is thin but it works OK; the edges of the clear Lexan covers are sharp, they should be rounded over Features: unit has a safety switch to prevent cage from spinning if cover is opened; speed control is included Easy to Use: OK

Got into beekeeping and took a chance on this extractor because we've never shopped vevor before...waited until our 2nd harvest to leave a review. It's worked flawlessly both times and I'm totally surprised at the quality of the entire unit & especially the motor. The legs could be better built but I almost think the flex helps to keep you from spinning unbalanced frames too fast when one frame has more honey than another...glad I got the 2/4 unit as well because it's not a huge footprint in the garage but its big enough to get the job done on harvest day even with multiple hives... Money well spent.

This extractor is a great deal and works great it is a lot better than hand cranked one I use to have, one thing it needs is to make a larger base so it doesn't shake so much.

I was very impressed with the quality of the extractor. Packaged for shipping could have been a little better. It was not damaged, but it got bounced around a bit. The extractor was easy to use and I would highly recommend it to others. 10 out of 10 I would buy again.

I have been keeping honeybees since 1966 and have seen/used a variety of honey extracting equipment. I have found myself in need of a smaller honey extractor as I have sold all of my large-scale equipment. This little extractor is exactly what I was looking for. Quality is good for today's standards. Shipping was quick and it was delivered in great shape. It did, however, arrive missing the two small L brackets that depress the safety switch. I emailed customer services and had to send them pictures of the assembled lids without the parts. Once I satisfied their need for proof of my complaint, they sent the missing parts right away. I could rate this order as a four star, because of the missing pieces and the hassle to correct the problem, but I am giving it all five stars. I do this because it is a fine extractor, performs well, and customer service communicated well and was quick to correct the problem. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend this product.

Arrived without delays, packed professionally. The hinges are designed for countersink bolts, however flat head bolts were supplied. The electric circuit cover was screwed on top of one of the hinges so I had to remove to and correct. The metal bracket on which the motor is mounted is arched down a little which causes the plastic lids not fully closing. The legs are a bit wobbly. All the above are minor issues, to be honest. The instruction could have been printed a bit better (unclear) using a bit better English. Despite the above, assembling was quite easy and quick. Before I used it I had to clean the grease from the inside of the axle base (why put grease where it would mix with honey?). The motor is very quiet, the speed range is quite adequate. Being able to vary the speed is very important, as with full frames the device vibrates too much at higher speeds (which is expected as their weights would never be exactly the same). After most of the honey flew out I was able to crank the rotations to almost max. with only little vibrations. Overall I am satisfied, it does the job and it is a good value for money, in my opinion as far as a hobbyist-beekeeper like myself is concerned.

I was skeptical before ordering, but gave it a shot as my extraction window was closing quickly... I ran 10 frames through the thing and it did fairly well! At least as good as the other big-name extractors I have used. It does appear to be pretty thin and I don't expect it will take a lot of abuse, but neither would any other brand? I think it was a great value for the price, and am looking forward to next years honey season.
