I appreciate the build quality and value. However, my only (minor) issue is the height when used in grass. Even though the grass is cut fairly short, the nails catch and many scrape back off. Changing direction helps raise the magnetic surface, but then it's not as strong. Maybe all of these tools are made this way and it's just the way it is. At any rate, I think it's a good product and I recommend it.

I bought it for going around the barn after it was reroofed and around the burn pile. It adjusts up and down for the more uneven terrain. The magnet is strong and it was picking up a lot of nails and screws you couldn't see. Good quality and the self cleaning feature is convenient.

Picks up all the metal screws nails and metal debris easily

I needed the largest metal magnet sweeper for post construction of new home and use over old rock from demo’d pole barn spread in driveway. Very impressive and was picking up old rusted metal pieces, staples, barb wire etc. It’s well built and heavy duty able to push down small mounds of rock or dirt while picking up metal. Recommend this magnet sweeper for commercial use.

covers ground quickly and does a good job

Works great and very powerful; if there is a nail or screw on the ground this thing will pick it up, even if it’s down in the grass. I like the feature that allows you to pull up the magnet inside the head; everything easily falls off in the trash.

Works great, does what it’s supposed too picks up all metal screws, nails etc

None of the metal it picked up in my alley was visible. I have a short 50 foot alley where I blew a tire. This magnet picked up 3 times more than is shown in the photo.

Works great, had my house reroofed and bought it to pick up the remaining nails (roofers did a great job of cleaning up after themselves) I has picked up so many nails, screws, and assorted metal in the yard

I bought this specifically to use in the grass when screws/ nails/ or driver bits are lost when working. So far the grass is keeping the lost items and nothing has be found with this product. The magnet should be stronger, or something done to assist with capturing the magnetic items. For a factory floor or garage, it works great.
