I had mixed opinions about ordering this rack (20U) after I read all the reviews. However I can only say that I am pleasantly surprised. After reading the reviews I expected this to take hours to assemble, however it took sub 1 hour to do alone. My 20U unit had the numbers on the front even though the pictures does not, only on the 9U unit, however I do not mind. My 20U unit did not have the coasters from the 20U unit pictures ( which looks like office chair wheels ), but instead it came with the 9U coasters, which seems durable enough. I have mounted probably 80KG of gear + the rack weight itself around 18kg so almost 100kg and it's not problem moving it around. People also complain about the screws, that they are un-tapped and how even an electric screw driver will have a hard time, also that they are philips heads. I had no problem what so ever, also sure philips heads might not be the most optimal, but if you are using the correct gear there aint no problem. Maybe people are getting different versions of this rack, mine was shipped from Czech Republic if that matters.

So far I've mounted a heavy UPS on the bottom and some switches on the top and it's doing pretty well, setup wasn't too hard, I think it was a good value for what you get.

Bought this for the adjustable deph for a server. Works great.

I purchased the 12U open frame server rack. This unit is compatible with PowerEdge servers and other rack mounted equipment. The only problem is the 12U server rack can only support up to 200 lbs. In my case, my network equipment exceeded that weight limit and I only filled half the space. The setup took me 6 hours and 100% requires a power tool to get the screws in. The instructions were clear but the steps could have been more efficient. I ended up have to partially remove some screws to get others to go in all the way.

Rack went together easy and functions great as a home lab network setup in my case. Lots of screws for assembly but it was fun to put together.

I love this rack

Nice construction, but make sure you have a power screwdriver. It is mentioned in the instructions as well. Screws are used and require a good amount of force to drive into the metal components. Only complaint is that very few rack mount bolts and corresponding nuts included. I would at least make sure you have enough to rack 2 or 3 additional devices. Comes with enough to mound trays and 4 additional for 1 device. They are cheap, but would a have added to original purchase if i knew

Good quality construction, easy to assemble

I needed an uncomplicated and not to expensive server rack that I could mount on a bench-top. This unit was perfect. It's well made, adjustable and easy to assemble. For my purposes, it was an excellent purchase.

Easy assembly by one person. Lean it against a wall and a padded chair to assemble. Don't fully tighten screws until the 8 corner triangle brackets are in and tighten them first! They will align everything. Then tighten everything else.
