Works great making power for my off grid cabins

Positive comments: appears to be high quality in components and construction, very pleased Negative comments: 1) the 12VAC leads coming out of the generator were almost too short to work with on mine and 2) like others have commented, the unit may have trouble aligning with the wind direction. Now, my observation on this has been primarily during low and shifting wind conditions. Time will tell on this one. Mine has only been up for a week or so. Overall, pleased with the product so far.

Easy to set it up, wired up and connected to my battery bank without issues. Comparing to my previously installed TPW-400DT (which cost me $700), this one seems not catching up wind direction all the time. TPW-400DT runs consistently catching the wind direction, but this one quite often interrupted (facing opposite direction of the wind) after running a while. As other people pointed out - the tail may have design flaw - maybe some fixings will help that? Comparably it is not so noisy even gust wind speed is above 25 mph. I will see how it does after running for a period of time. The rubber pad coming with the package is quite useful to bind my pole to the wind turbine -- I used 1 1/4 inch galvanized pipe with joint on (which is 2 inch OD) . With this price tag, it should be a worth buy.

Design is flawed as the tail is not efficient as the turbine would fuel out of the wind as soon as it started charging - I added my own tail for much better performance. 30 mph wind and output is 20 watts max. Disappointed in performance.

Great products, wish there were more comprehensive instructions on how to get them to work and what else is needed to get them to work, still sitting in boxes at the moment, cause I'm not sure how to get them working. The wind turbine, how and what do you need to hook it up to a battery to start charging battery? Water pump, what is needed to get it to work?

Simple to install easy to understand instructions, quick shipping would definitely order this item again.

I originally had a vertical axis wind turbine that this item replaced. The horizontal profile allows the blades to more efficiently capture the wind energy. I am very satisfied.

Love the wind turbine Generator ,just wish the tail fin was larger to direct the wind turbine better.
