The flexible rods that extend the reach of the brush head are stout yet flexible enough to move through a not so straight path. The brush head seems to have what appears to be twisted weed eater line for the “brush” material. I would think the ability to replace as needed would be possible by disassembly of the head and replacing the lines yourself. I like the ability to prolong the life of tools as much as possible. We tend to have too many things that are throw away these days.

This thing works fantastic! No more climbing on the roof.

First cleaning of my chimney. Quite a bit of soot came down. I was running my shopvac and it controlled the dust. Fire burned great after.

Cleaned stovepipe from below by assembling brush and connecting rods all the way to the top. Placed a trash bag and taped it around the pipe with painting masking tape except for where the rods came through. Attached the drill and chuck to the rods and GENTLY increased the speed until I was sure the brush was expanded and begin brinigng it downwards slowly until the next rod showed. Gently slow down, remove a rod and repeat gentle process rod by rod. Use the goggles and a dust mask to guard against the creosote. Save the gloves and sponge for cleaning the rods and brush when you're done. Have an awesome day!

Nice combination of quality and price. I was able to clean the chimney very easily. Definitely would recommend this product.
