I’m satisfied with the price, sturdiness and easy installation.

Can't say I've ever written more than a handful of reviews and it takes a product to be either really good or really bad for me to do so. These "BestEquip Scaffolding Wheels Set of 4, 8" - Scaffolding Casters Heavy Duty, 4400 Lbs Per Set" fit in the first category in that they are really good! First impression came when I picked up the box left by the carrier - they are quite heavy and weigh every bit of the claimed 45 lbs. and I associate this with being well built. I purchased them for use on a large 20' scaffold tower. My scaffold tower is huge and heavy but with these wheels it rolls smoothly and the locking mechanism works flawlessly. For the money, these wheels have me impressed and pleasantly surprised. So many products these days are pure junk but not these wheels. They get a solid 5 stars from me.

Could've been 5 stars if the braking mechanism was designed to latched solidly. One has to manually fidget with placement of the lever/handle just in the right way so the brake plate presses against the wheel. But this isn't as solid as expected or should be. Also, the brake plate seems to bend somewhat over time, so that it doesn't press against the wheel as much in later uses. Bottom line - it works good, but I'm hesitant to leave in the brake position for too long as it "might wear out" (on major construction jobs, this isn’t an option), and time will tell if the brake works good over years of use. When all 4 wheel brakes are engaged, it's of course solid.As for load capacity, the wheels easily handle loads I expect to encounter (1000-1200lbs overall, 300lbs per wheel). I really like these casters! they are heavily built and constructed well. The 8" wheels roll over small things easily. They are built heavily enough to support a lot of weight.

quick and easy transaction and just what I needed to get rolling.

I bought used scaffolding at a great price but without wheels. These fit the scaffold frame perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised and how heavy duty these were at such a good price! I highly recommend.
