I wasn’t sure at first if this hitch would be good. I installed it and I am glad I went with this hitch. It’s sturdy and does a great job with my 30 ft travel trailer. I definitely recommend this.

Could ya not just install the ball there at the factory? I've spent $100 additional buying a 1-7/8\" box wrench and 24\" adjustable wrench to tighten the ball. Technically it's supposed to be tightened to 350ft/lbs but I'm definitely not spending hundreds more on a torque wrench that size. This is kind of a big deal for DIYers, if I have to pay a specialty shop to install it or invest in tools I'll never touch again it's a significant letdown.

I don't intend to use this very often, so for the price, it does the job. The travel trailer dealer help to install and stated that there are hitches that are easier to setup. If one is planning on needing this type of hitch on a regular basis, an investment in a more install/attachment friendly hitch. It takes a torque wrench just to connect the tow vehicle to the trailer. Not many people own or have a torque wrench. If I decide that I will need this hitch more often, I might invest in a easier to use hitch. From a towing perspective, the hitch worked well. I had a 5 hour drive with hilly and flat terrain with some wind. I didn't notice any sway. I was pulling an 8000 lb travel trailer with a 1/2 ton truck.

Easy to install! Drove from WV to FL with no issues. Everything was top notch.

Leveled up my loaded trailer and truck for my Florida trip. Works as advertised.

I haven't used this yet, but just working with getting it ready for my truck and the trailer, I can tell it is of high quality construction. I was shopping for a hitch like this and when I saw the price of this one, I just had to get it. Can't wait to try it out.
