Have used this river sluice a number of times now and it has held up well. The fact that it folds is a huge help when hiking to the gold and it will fit in any normal backpack. The sluice seems to catch the gold well - a lot sticks in the black mat at the front, which is ideal. Anything that gets by the matting gets stuck in the miners moss and carpet. Ruffle system works fine too. Great value, in my opinion.

This sluice box is the perfect size for working a small stream or tributary. Anything larger would be a pain to haul around. It folds up, so can easily be carried into back country locations with the carrying strap. I will tuck it into a dry sack, though, to make sure I don't lose anything out of the mats on the way back out. High quality construction and mats. Lowest price I have seen anywhere for a box this size. Much larger than expected, even though the dimensions are listed in the product description. Very happy with this purchase.

Was almost ready right out of the box, the small ruffle screen was in backwards just flipped it around and slammed her in place in the stream and classified the material and caught gold right away!!! Great vale for the money and very fast shipping don’t hesitate to buy!!!

Catches veery fine gold, locks up pretty well. I replaced the moss and carpet with some rubber ridged mats.

construction was good. portable and light weight. bought it for my mother who is disabled, and she can barely go to difficult places and needed to be light. mostly she just gets the paydirt bags from reliable distributers. But she does want to go gold panning. I think it's going to be useful to us this summer. Its what she wanted.

It works great on fine gold, takes a few minutes to get just right to use. You need to readjust after a few buckets of dirt. Works great and a great hobby.

It's easy to fold up and pack it's light weight and works great product came with all piece's and I've been using it alot lately it's my new favorite box to use
