It works as expected and advertised. I wish I had bought a larger one, but I have used this one quite often.

needed a cleaner to clean carb , more than big enough , easy to use , cleaned gunked up , varnished up atv carb that had been sitting for 10 years , ran through the cleaner 3 times and came out looking like new, used simple water and pinesol, changed fluid each time , worked flawlessly. have many more projects to use it on , much cheaper than buying similar items at other places, was 60 dollars cheaper for same size at other supplier. Extremely happy with product and speed of delivery and quality of product for price paid.

It does a good job cleaning, it's a good "bang for the buck" but you have to watch the temperature. The heaters do not seem to pay any attention to the settings and continue to get hotter as long as it's running unless you turn the heat off.

Cleans things very well, can see a standing wave in the water as it works as well, so you have a visual indicator that it’s doing it’s thing. Can get water far hotter than you want to touch, though if you are using the unit to do the heating, it takes a while. It’s a small heating element. Definitely noisy, you aren’t going to miss that it’s running by any stretch of the imagination, and it’s a grating sound. Not pleasant. It does have a large capacity tank, and it does work very well, so pick your trade offs.

I bought this to help me with a Carby rebuild, and it worked far better than I had hoped, With a 1:10 mix of Simple green and two 30min sessions, the Carby came out so clean It didn't require any additional cleanup by hand, it even removed all of the surface rust on the steel parts. I have since used this for cleaning up old dirty or rusted tools, it works great to clean old files that are clogged or slightly rusted. My only recommendation to anyone buying one is get the largest one available. since I've got it I've found many projects that it would be great for but the 10L one I got is just too small to fit the parts.

As the item review stated the temperature does go higher than set for while operating the ultrasonic action. I have learned to turn it off early such that it stays closer to what I desire. I use this every week to clean brass and it does a very good job. I use the Lyman Case Cleaner solution with distilled water. I set it for a temperature of 35 for 30 minutes and it usually gets to 50 (Celsius) around 120 degrees Fahrenheit. I let the unit sit for 15 to 30 minutes after it completes the time set. I like the fact that it automatically shuts itself off! People have said it is loud but I put some small pieces of old towels at the bottom of the top and it is much quieter. I do not feel it is too loud without the padding. The unit has worked consistently for over 100 uses so far. It is much better than the Harbor Freight unit I had before this one.
