Easily bent 3/16 x 3 inch steel strap. Works well. The horizontal bar in the top screw doesn't fit well. Had to shim it. For the money it is a \"happy buy.\"

It works great for the price. Saved so much time!!. We were able to bend 1/4"SS brackets with perfect angle and consistency.

For the price, you're not going to get the world's best bender. This is perfectly good for medium duty, and works easily. You don't have to fight it.Like others note, you may have to do a little grinding here and there to get best performance from all the dies.The shipping box really does need to be stronger, but I got all the parts with no damage. I wouldn't mind having a manual or instruction sheet, but hey, this ain't rocket science.
