Easy instal and works great! Just make sure you run the cord on the right side of box or it will steer backwards. Good product

It appears well made. I replaced the same brand system on my boat, so all the bolt holes matched up. I didn't have to do any new drilling or anything. You can \"feel\" the gear turn when you steer the boat. It's a little odd at first but I'm sure I'll get used to it. It also might be less noticable under power with the engine running.

Went from juggling a tiller handle to driving our boat with a steering wheel gives the boat spot on precise driving. Just had to buy a steering boot to cover the exposed shaft that is coated with grease but other than that great investment

Did not have instructions. So I installed backwards and then had to reinstall. Other than that all else good.

There are reviews that stated that there were no instructions. The manufacture must have read them because there were instructions in mine. Was easy to install and works like it should.
