Customer Reviews for Vevor Pneumatic Air Pressure Bleeder Brake Bleeder and Clutch Bleeder Valve System Kit

I purchased this with a lot of excitement as bleeding brakes on some cars can be quite difficult in getting all the air out, and the reviews here were good. I was unable to use it however on the first car I tried, which was a 2017 Kia Forte. None of the standard adapters fit, except for one that came close (one that used an o-ring and fit into the master cylinder filler neck). Seemed loose in the neck and I don't know that it would have worked, but I never found out because the plastic tabs on it would not hold the cap securely (they bent out). Also, all the connectors on the caps for the hose go straight, and in this case, there was no way for me to get the hose on because the cowl was in the way. It was impossible to use the universal cap because of the same issue. That's not the fault of the tool per say, but it would be better if all the connectors were at right angles to the cap so it could work in more situations. Many cars have the master cylinder tucked in under the cowl. The caps by the way were not finished well. Many had plastic hanging off from where they were threaded. Something to watch out for. Had I not been looking, I could have easily ended up with a plugged master cylinder. I did not find a manual included either and had to find it on-line. The recovery bottle also leaked at the top (I used it when I manually bled the brakes with a helper). I'm keeping the tool though in the hope that I can do a reverse flush in cases like this by coming up with a hookup for the bleeder screw that will be air tight (another product feature that might be nice as an option). Looks like it would have done the job, but some things to watch out for before you buy.

I'm a Volvo Tech working in a dealership for 8 years now. I've had a really nice inexpensive brake bleeder that has broken from years of use. Due to CoVid-19 parts from Germany have been hard to get so I found this bleeder. When it arrived I was very excited to go to work and use it. I have to say the machine itself is amazing! Best bleeder and I'm very happy. The adapter kit that it comes with is less than perfect. I've used 3 of the screw on adapter and they leak brake fluid horribly. I was about to return it but decided to retrofit my old adapter to the machine. It is the best bleeder I've had but the adapters are very cheap and poorly made.UPDATE:I have contacted the seller about my issues and they resolved my concerns by either sending me a brand new one or providing a full refund. I really do love the design of this machine and maybe I just got a defective one. Nonetheless I was satisfied with the professionalism and quick response.

I really like the base unit the hoses are good fairly intuitive for use. But not a fan of the master cylinder connectors I ended up having to buy a more expensive one because the ones that come with it don't really seal well.

I was looking for an alternative to plastic-jug type brake bleeders. I wanted something robust. This had a lot of what I was looking for. I dont like the bladder design, so I took it apart, cut out the bladder (using it as a flange gasket) and modified the plumbing so I could pump air on top and push fluid out the bottom. I also had to fix the cap that adapts to my master cylinder reservoir (it leaked way too much because the inside of the cap was not molded well). I've also bought some other caps because the kit provided did not meet all of my vehicle needs. If you take it apart, re-plumb it, and put it back together with some modified parts it works great. I just wish someone had done this right from the beginning.
