I am no welder. When I was in my early twenties I learned some basic stuff about stick welding but never mig or Tig. I still haven't tried the stick or Tig with this machine but I repaired my ATV rack and was amazed, this thing works great. It did practice some on some scrap metal about the same gage. I also watched some YouTube videos on mig welding. I'm going to scrounge up more scrap metal to play with.It does not come with any welding rods or tungstens and filler rods, it does have a spool of flux core wire so you can be welding right out the box. The instructions SUCK! I recommend YouTube or some other form if instruction. The machine itself is very light weight too.I recommend this welder!

As a MIG welder it works awesome. I will teach myself to TIG soon

Settings are very easy to control they burn in very well very nice welder

I used it on 1 inch metal and it worked great, I wish the cables would be a bit longer but that is the only complaint i have.

Great welder for the money! I burn .035 wire and no problems. Im even using 100% CO2 gas and it still runs smooth! Sticks runs well. I've burned 5/32" 7018. Had to open it pretty wide open but ran smooth. Would handle 1/8" no problem. Even ran a 3/32" 6013 and ran nice! Haven't tried Tig yet. No gas. All in all, I love this machine!

This welder is easy to use and does amazing welds. Has great penitration, and the stick weld function works almost as good as my 220 welder. Great welder and extremely portable and powerful.
