Out of the box, the fittings for the air supply hose from the oiler were missing . The supplier sent hose fittings , but no bushings to attach to oiler, or air supply in. American bushings do not work in Chinese regulator or oiler. Had to wrap several layers of teflon tape around threads , the bushing still bottomed out still leaks air . I will replace regulator and oiler with American units soon. Other than air issues . It taps great.

So far we like this tapping machine. It only comes with an M5-M6 combo collet that doesn't fit normal M5 taps, so you will need to buy a different M5 collet or German-style M5 taps which aren't sold at many places. We also found that a Lyndex NT05-010 works for #10 taps. You can also find a GT12-ER20 adapter so that you can use standard ER20 collets in the tapping machine. We have found that it doesn't spin at 400RPM, using the 12mm hose they provide and around 120psi we are only seeing around 220rpm. This may be a problem with our setup but we are giving it a lot of air and not seeing anything close to the advertised 400rpm. Overall it's excellent value and works great for tapping M5 and #10 holes in aluminum and plastic. We have used it with spiral point taps so we don't have to consistently reverse and can drive straight in and reverse fully out of most thru holes.

I just tapped 120 3/8 x 16 holes in a 1/2 inch steel plate in less than 40 minutes . Excellent quality , im very pleased

The tapping arm worked great for tapping plenty of holes into6061 aluminium, 4041 steel, and ar500 steel plates.The only problem initially is figuring out what taps actuallyfit in the included collets though. From looking at the Q/A areasupposedly ISO 529 taps work, but the ones I ordered did not, including the metric ones too.Ended up finding imperial tapping collets from ToolLots.Tap sizes that seem to work with the included collets are the 3/16-18 in the m12others seem to be too large or need a little tape to keep in place.4/5 stars since the collets weren't simple to figure out, but saved a heck of lot of time on tapping ~80 holes in AR500 with 3% larger holes than standard in roughly 1 hour vs the 3 days it took for hand taping in a drill press.
