The quality of the chuck is good, but bought a vevor brand wood lathe and had trouble getting the t bar to mount. Now I have this 4 inch 3jaw chuck that does not have the correct size t handle. I will post a video later.
For the price, absolutely can't be beat, without getting lucky second hand, gear plate was a little rough, it binds up a little in a couple spots, but for the price it's functional and pretty much dead on for true.
I bought the 10 inch and its good runout is good one piece body the only iffy is the plastic cover on the back for the ring gear cover but it seals good with the plastic so maybe not a fault ?
I added this to my 1939 Craftsman Lathe. My original piece was out. This bolted Right on with the adapter piece and has been straight since I put it on. It works and fit great!
