An excellent budget anvil
This anvil is great for anyone looking to get into blacksmithing or sheet metal forming, I prefer this style because the heel at the end allows you to rest your hand underneath while grasping sheet metal which helps with making armor.

The shipping
The shipping was horrible, i ordered it on november 30th and was told i would get it on the second, then the third, then the fourth, then the 6th, 7th, 8th and finally it arrived on the 9th.

Does What It's Supposed To Do
Does exactly what I expect a 22lb anvil to do and for even less since I got it for 39.99 during black friday sales! I would've ordered the larger ones but I know my usual delivery driver would hate me for doing so. Would absolutely buy again if I need another anvil amongst anvils

Great Anvil!
I acquired a new 165 lb (75 Kg) Peddinghaus anvil a while back, which is a \"premium\" new anvil. What many might not understand (or want to admit) is that an anvil like a new Peddinghaus isn't something you want kids or adult beginners to beat on. And everyone always wants to beat on the anvil, which is why I bought this one for them to start with instead. If you haven't beat on an anvil before, this Vevor 66 lb seems to be perfect in every way. The price is excellent. \"Unskilled\" dents and dings to it won't hurt anyone's (my) feelings. The weight is convenient to deal with -- heavy, but not too heavy. It has a great standard shape with the right holes in the right spots. The base doesn't look funny. Actually, the base is about the same shape as the Peddinghaus anvils, as I was able to fit this in the old routed-out home-made Peddinghaus stand I have with a very minor adjustment. I cannot find anything to complain about with this anvil for this price. Unless there is some hidden flaw I haven't encountered yet, it is a perfect new anvil for the price. I do not think there is a better option in this price range, unless you can find a used one, which is difficult. As far as performance, I haven't had enough time to beat on it to say for sure, but in comparison to the Peddinghaus, a 1\" steel ball bearing does not bounce quite as vigorously on this Vevor, which shall shock no one. However, honestly, it does bounce pretty good. It does not \"ring\" nearly as loudly as the Peddinghaus. Again, no shock, but at least the Vevor rings a little -- it is not dead. It is not a bad anvil, it just isn't \"premium\", and there is nothing wrong with that, depending on the mission. It is less than a tenth of the price of a new 165 lb Peddinghaus, so expectations should scale appropriately, and if your mission is to have a solid anvil to beat on and get stuff done, without spending a lot of money on a precious object, then this is that anvil. Again, for the price, it seems to be pe

Reasonably well made. Leg design terrible. Remove the paint
Overall this 60KG anvil from Vevor was a decent purchase for a newer blacksmith. I purchased this to use in addition to my old passed-down Fisher that's seen better days and has more sentimental value. First things first...strip the paint. I used a wire wheel and removed all the awful paint from about 4" down from the top plate and from both horn ends entirely. Otherwise you're going to be smelling melted paint and possibly contaminating your work. Second...the leg design and ring. Its awful. The leg design makes it hard to mount and the ring is deafening. So...i ended up using heavy chain to wrap multiple times around the anvil and lag bolt to opposite sides of my mount/stump. This took out the ear-piercing ring entirely. Third, the pritchel hole is near useless. Its entirely too large. I'm going to see if i can find something to sleeve it and weld in place to shrink the pritchel hole diameter(1.1in from MFG). Other than those few issues it's a great deal. I've already used this anvil for a handful of projects.

Excellent!
I am a beginner blacksmith. I ordered the anvil based on price and features. Since receiving it, I have used it on several projects. It's stood up amazingly well. I was afraid that it's lifetime was going to be short. From my experience with the anvil, I will be using it for years to come.
