This wire stripper work wonderfully for large gauge wires, but the smaller 14 and 16 gauge is tough. There really needs to be a guide on both side for the small wire otherwise it just twists out from under the blade getting stuck between the blade and the angled feeder wheels. It also work better if the wire is super straight. Another thing I'm finding is that the crank arm is too long to use without the stripper right on the edge of wherever it's set up. It'd be nice to have a shorter arm so that it doesn't strike the table you want to work on or make the stripper machine taller if it really requires that much leverage to run the wire through. I haven't put a coreless drill to it yet because I haven't used long enough wire of the same gauge, so I keep having to adjust the cutting wheel.
