Winch is heavy duty and works great. My only negative comment is the short 3’ remote cord. It is ridiculous for a winch that is going to be suspended from an overhead beam to lift objects many feet off the floor. I bought extra wire and rewired the control for a 13’ control. This allows the winch to be operated from the floor or raised platform. The winch is very heavy and requires and hard to mount but that was to be expected. I made wide brackets to span 6x6 beam for mounting.

Great deer hoist

Removed from box and plugged in . motor made huming sound and hoist would not operate. asso safrty issue the wedge that secures the end of cable on hoist drum was laying in bottom of box ,if load had been on hoist if it was operable , cable would have come off of drum and load would have fallen. NOT A GOOD HOIST,

All good except documentation

The cord for the controller was too short and I had to splice in some electrical cord to make it long enough for ease of use

Modified into shingles bundle hoist

Works great but you have to keep the cable tight on it.
