I wanted to wait a while to test and write a good post to pass good info before you buy.Cons: charger arrived cracked, throttle wires schematics don’t make any sense (keep reading), communication with the seller is not very helpful, motor mount is not strong enough to support the torque the motor puts out, ended up blowing the controller because the wiring schematics were off and did not make any sense, bought another one from a different seller and worked fine.Pros: phenomenal torque (pulls close to 500 lbs easily at 16 MPH), once you figure out the wiring you can get to its maximum rpm of 600 (red, black and green wire off the throttle is all you need). I did not use the different speed modes because it’s easier to just control the speed with the throttle. The motor has so much torque it bent the mounts it sits on. You may have to reenforce the mounts somehow depending on what your doing with it. A #40 chain is what you’ll need to run it. I got a 48v,20 ah, 1000w battery to run it and it pulls our entire family for about 4 miles.Bottom line:If you need torque, this is the motor for you. It’s pretty quiet when running. The motor is really the only quality you get out of this package.
