Awesome customer service. Installed 2kw heater, worked very well as expected but pump failed quickly. Contacted Vevor customer service, they raised a customer service ticket quickly, sent out a replacement pump free of charge and kept me informed. Great product and great customer service. Sometimes things fail and it’s comforting to know that when it happens there is good customer service to back up the product. Very happy with my Vevor diesel heater and customer service.
I watched a few You Tube videos and was a bit concerned about hooking up the exhaust, but when I actually got it and laid it out on the floor, my solution was simple. I just used a piece of fence tubing (the exhaust pipe fit perfectly) and laid it out under my garage door. I used some header wrap where it passes close to the door. No problem. 22 degrees last night and I am working comfortably in the garage (insulated) at 65 degrees. It took about 1.5 hrs to warm the garage up.
I purchased the Vevor diesel air heater, 8KW model, to heat my garage workshop. The shop measures 26' by 9' and is uninsulated with the exception of the ceiling. Previously I was using a kerosene heater for warmth but the cost of K-1 kerosene has risen substantially in the past few years making this solution unaffordable.
The Vevor diesel heater arrived well-packaged and damage-free. The instructions were a little bit difficult to follow as they had been translated into English from another language but the pictures helped and there are many videos on YouTube to help with the installation. Once installed the heater performed very well. I had little difficulty keeping my shop at 45 degrees Farenheit during a cold-snap when the outside temperature was -4 degrees Fahrenheit; and the heater was not even set to maximum. Impressive!
Diesel fuel use is reasonable considering the amount of BTU's the heater produces and is certainly less expensive than kerosene. I experienced no issues or problems with the heater in the 4 weeks I have been using it in my shop. Recommended product.
Had another brand, that seemed to have better accessories. Better hoses etc. Nicer outside. But it failed within a couple of hours. This heater, had to have a couple things tightened up, but seems to work better. To me, if it works good, it's better.
I gave it 4 stars only because the instructions are so poor at explaining how to set up the main screen on the unit. I’ve had the heater for 6 weeks now and I’ve still haven’t figured out main screen. Use it to keep my uninsulated garage warmer and it’s great but fix the use guide please
Previous to this unit I ordered another branded unit that pretty much was in same package but it was labeled as 5-8KW which most likely was a 5kw unit, The other branded unit had a horrid smell when it was on so I returned it and bought this unit instead. All i can say is it is amazing and works much better and hotter, has almost no smell and it even talks when you turn it on and off etc. I love it so far and has about an hour of use with no problems.
This little heater is pretty impressive, instruction manual is very poor and I wish vevor sold a power adapter to run on 120v so it could be used in a small shop without a 12 v battery
