Had brown stuff on it after unboxing was also on the plastic covering

It is very sturdy and easy to put together but there was brown rust like dirt substance on the inside and some outside of the gold coverings for the bottoms I kept it inside the box unopened for months bc I purchased for my daughters wedding coming up luckily the ones on the outside are not as awful as the inside but was surprised not sure how that happened or what to use to clean it off I tried a soft towel but didn’t remove all of it on the outside bottom covers the top bars were in good shape no discoloration

The packing inside was in pieces. One piece in picture is bend. The other piece is rusty. I wanted to order another set but it was not delivered with care and it smells like it was stored in a warehouse a long time.

Very sturdy, should package better to avoid dents in metal base.

Is great and sturdy. Only problem is 3 of the 4 bases came dented due to the weights being packaged in the same box. Still useful just not in perfect condition which is the only reason I didn’t give this a full 5 stars across the board. Nonetheless the price is great for the quality and sturdiness.

These are very good quality stanchions. Shipping was right on time. They are exactly what we wanted for our photobooth. The reason for the 4 stars is due to shipping box. The weights for the base are prefilled and have a tendency to move around in the box and create small dings to the finish product. I was very concerned by the box when it arrived. The Styrofoam was shattered in the box, thank goodness no damages was done to the stanchions. You can tell that they have been used as either a display or for a short time event. There's a few stains on top of the base of one of the stanchion, but it was small enough that I can live with it. They were easy to assemble and heavy enough that wind will not turn them over.
